Dark Jesters Table of Contents

The final Table of Contents has been posted for Dark Jesters. The publishers are looking to get it published by Fall 2009 at the latest.

- FOSSILIZED BRAAAINS by William A. Veselik
- THE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN by Matthew Fryer
- TONGS AND THE ROACH by David T. Wilbanks
- BLESS THE BEASTLY CHILDREN by Laura Cooney
- WOLF PLUGS by Jerrod Balzer
- HACKS by Sam Battrick
- PAPA'S GOT A BRAND NEW BAG by Robert Guffey
- CURSE OF THE BLIND EEL by James Roy Daley
- RETIREMENT by Rob Brooks
- DEADNECK WOMAN by Mark Justice

With any luck, they'll let me re-title my story.

We are never happy are we. Always wanting to change just one word or if we had perhaps named our character something else. . .

I actually like the title and in the antho it is in I can only imagine what it entails.

You're right, nothing ever is quite right, is it? I'm not so good at titles, and I don't think Retirement is very representative of the piece. But I can't think of anything more suitable, so...It'll probably stay.

Lot to be said for simple titles, dude. And, on that note, congratulations again.

Good point, Josh. I used to have a thing for single-word titles. I've been trying to broaden my horizons so the titles don't all feel the same.

Bobby, you are an inspiration.

WEll, Will, I know I need to set a good example for you. That's my only reason for writing.;)

Arg! I made it to the last round of Dark Jesters and then got cut. So. Very. Jealous.

That said, thanks for the comment on 52 Stitches. Do you have something going up there soon? Pretty intense resolutions for 2009. Mine are pretty similar. You should join some of the informal contests that a few of us have going on. "Oh yeah? I can write more stories than you!" can be quite motivating.

Thanks for stopping by, Mercedes. I've got two stories going up on 52 Stitches, but the first isn't until March, I believe. A while to go yet. I really enjoyed yours by the way.

Give a shoutout when you're going up. I'll post a link on my blog.

I look forward to reading it. :)
