Yes, I know, I'm a bad blogger. Shame on me. And I've really on just got a couple quick notes today then I'll be gone again for...who knows how long?
My story "Payday" is appearing in the next issue of A Thousand Faces. You can read the story on-line for free while the issue is current, or (preferably) you can buy a print copy of the magazine for $9, or a .pdf for $3.99. The authors selected for A Thousand Faces are paid on royalties, so the more you buy, the more we make. And anyway, the whole magazine is superhero fiction, so of course you'll love it.
Another story was recently selected for publication as well, "Unnatural Blonde." It will be appearing in an upcoming issue of the new webzine Arkham Tales. It'll be a free .pdf download, so give it a read. Their focus is on weird horror fiction in the H. P. Lovecraft sense of the word. I've really liked this story since I wrote it and have been seeking a good home for it.
In other news: Any writing projects that I've mentioned in the past are on hold. I mostly wasn't posting to the blog because I wasn't writing, and posting on a blog about my writing would only depress me. I recently got back into the habit with a brand new project which I have to report is going great. I'm not going to say anything specific about it, except that I'm having a lot of fun with it, and really, isn't that what it's all about?
Talk to you soon.
