Feeling it

I've been in quite a funk lately. This happens every now and again, but right now, I am just not feeling it. I haven't written a word in a couple weeks. I just feel too exhausted to try. I have no writing motivation or desire. I barely ever come to my blog or check out the writerly blogs that I have linked here. It's like I don't want anything to do with writing, and I couldn't tell you why.

I'm not about to discover the answer now. I hope I can overcome the funk here pretty soon. If not, I'll need to find a new title for my blog.

Sometimes a little space is a good thing. It brings things into focus. Sometimes we need to go at the problem head on, whether we want to or not. I hope you get back it soon.

Funk sucks.

Seconded. Take a break, clear some space, kick out the jams. It'll help.

The funk will pass. All writers go through this. December was a horrible month for me. I find huge amounts of chocolate helps;-)

I was in a funk too and it was only the help of writer friends that got me over it. Good luck!

That always sucks, and we've all been there...it helps me to watch an inspirational movie with a story that I wish I had written. Or take a break and start a new short or flash thingie...
